Travel by train


The railway station 'Norddeich Mole' is opposite the ferry terminal. Please note that you have to leave the train at 'Norddeich Mole', not at 'Norddeich'. Otherwise, you will have a 5-min. walk. You can also book the train to Norderney with the ferry ticket included.

Travel by car


From Hanover, Hamburg, Bremen, you reach Norddeich Mole via A 28 to interchange Leer, then A 31 to exit Emden Nord, then B 210 and B 72 to Norddeich.

From Frankfurt, Cologne, you reach Norddeich Mole via A 31 to Emden Nord, then B 210 and B 72 to Norddeich.

Please note that traffic on Norderney is seasonally restricted and that the ferry is very expensive (about 60 - 70 EUR for a regular car). You can use the parking area close to the ferry terminal at Norddeich Mole for about 5 - 6 EUR per day.
